I Took on the Livestrong Challenge!

Thanks to family and friends who donated, I was able to participate in the Livestrong Challenge this past Sunday. I rode 45 miles on a challenging hilly course. I thought of Aunt Diane a lot. It was a wonderful, challenging, and emotional experience. Pics below are most of the group from my work who participated in the ride, me posing with a couple colonial folks at the one rest stop, and 'chillaxin' in our development pool with Cally, Kelli, and Ashley later that afternoon.

Maine Trip

2nd cousins meet for the first time....

Sea Pointe - Shauna, Cally and I took a stroll down to the beach on Saturday morning.
After driving around for a while, Maia, Shauna and I decided to go to Fort Foster's beach...take note of our make-shift tent which we threw together in under a minute. The girls enjoyed it for about 15 min...before the first breakdown...then we walked them around for a little bit on the beach and the pier before packing up.

After a fun day at the beach, both girls needed a bath!!

Once the girls hit the hay, the rest of us enjoyed "Mexican Night" hosted by Jose...which included a thrilling game of balderdash.

"IBOB - I bring own beer"
We traveled over to Portsmith on Sunday to meet Maia and have a picnic near the whale. The girls really did not seem to notice the significance of the whale.
Thanks Sara, Dave, Maia, Harper, Doobs and Gus for entertaining us this past weekend. We had a GREAT time!!

The 5th Annual Badminton Tourney took place at the Nest last weekend. Uncle Jimmy and Mr. Brooks were victorious. Lots of mosquitos this year -- but at least the rain held off. Notice our sweet team hats. Thanks Commish for all your hard work!
