Lost Video from the First Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

This idea popped in my head today. I almost lost the pilgrim woman towards the end, but we were able to push through the performance! You can hear Cally crying in the beginning, too; the pilgrim party must have temporarily awakened her. Looking forward to a holiday performance, Aunt Linda! :)

Cally's First Time Climbing 'The Wall'

Ashley, Cally, and I cheered on runners in Manayunk this past Sunday for the Philadelphia Marathon. We had a nice time; weather was great. We got a bite to eat on Main Street. Cally was overall good. We waited a little long for our food, but we were able to avoid Cally completely "coming undone" (Rachel Zoe). There is a street known as 'the wall' that bikers climb during the Manayunk bike race in June. Walking down was fine, but walking back up to my car with 21+ pounds on my back gave the calves a good burn!!! (The picture does not give the hill incline justice!) Good times!

Painting Warriors...

My mom, Aunt Linda and Kris helped me conquer a major project this weekend....paint three rooms while Sal was at work!!! For the most part, we did do it. I have one more coat to put on the small powder room (damn border!)...I needed to stop so I could be coherent at work tomorrow.

Dining room was completed on Saturday using the color "Spice." Sal was not a huge fan of this color...he really thinks he is Martha Stewart. However, it looks great and I am really happy with it!

Aunt Linda tackled the powder room. It had this deep purple color with a hideous border across the top. This border (approximately 12-15 feet of it) took poor Aunt Linda 5 hours!! With patience and persiverience, she won!! Will post pictures, when I get the last coat of "Apple" on this week.

Kris, my mom and I tackled the kitchen with a lovely shade of "butter." It was previously painted a dark green and again with a border - which Aunt Linda single handedly tore down quickly on Saturday.

What a difference some paint makes!!! Thanks mom, Aunt Linda and Kris for your help!!

Enjoying the new house...

We have been settling in quite nicely here in Pottstown in the new house. There has been a lot of rain the past month, so it has been hard to enjoy the outdoors on the weekends. We lucked out today and are enjoying a very nice Sunday! Below are some pics of us finally sitting on the rockers my parents got for us on our porch. I hope next year we will be sitting on them a lot more!!

Bed Head...

Shauna, Mike, Cally, Ashley and my mom came over last night for Mexican night. Cally had to lay down around 8 while we watched a movie. When Shauna brought Cally out when they were ready to leave....Cally had major bed head!!!

Cally's 1st Bday Pics!

Cally had a busy birthday! Mike ususally has off Wednesdays but had to work, so the day started off early at her Mom-Mom's, then she went to daycare (Celeste and her daycare pals sang happy birthday to her), and then we all celebrated later in the evening. Cally had some cake and was excited about her presents - grocery cart and kitchen. I put together the grocery cart for her, so she played with that a bit. Cally wore the birthday onesie that Aunt Kelli got her as well as her FAUX jeans. Cally had a great day! We are so glad that she is in our lives!

Spin It, DJ Cally!

I finally transformed Cally's pack 'n play to Stage 3 so that she has something else to cruise on. Seeing her play with the music toy looks like she's a baby DJ spinning a mini turntable! LOL

Cally's 1st Birthday Celebration

Shauna and Mike had a small gathering at my parent's house today to celebrate Cally's first birthday (November 11th).
The grandmother's were doing itsy bitsy spider for Cally. She did her version once, but then was finished and just watched them.

Cally had her own cake. She enjoyed the icing, the demolition of the cake was the result of everyone else trying to get her to really tear into the cake!

I love SUGAR!!!
