Night out in Philly....

To celebrate Stacy's 22nd birthday, me, my mom, Ashley and Kristina took Stacy out for dinner in Philadelphia. We walked to Rittenhouse Square to snap some photos and saw one of the Philly Phanatic statues. It is part of an art project in Philadelphia. 20 phanatic statues decorated by artists have been placed around the city. We then had the idea to see how many more we could find.... I drove, while Kristina and Stacy ran out and snapped some shots.

Apparently the Phanatic beat Stacy up in this pic.

Lake George

We had a relaxing time at Lake George. I did take a dip in the 44 degree water. I had an Oplinger moment and went for it in my underclothes. Only one truck drove by.

Take me out to the ballgame...

It's baseball time again! My parents took Shauna, Cally and I to the game today. Today they were celebrating the Phanatic's birthday. We got to see the Phanatic celebrate with some of his friends by doing a dance on the field...Cally was really into the music (see video). Although the Phils lost 2-0...at least the weather cooperated so that we could have such a nice afternoon!

Poor Ruger...

Poor Ruger may finally get some relief. As most of you know, he has had issues with his one paw forcing him to wear booties for the past several months. It always seemed to be bothering him and he couldn't stop licking it!! After several vet visits, it was decided last week that they were going to have to cut part of the one pad out and fuse his two toes together so that it could properly heal. While under, the vet also removed a lump on is stomach. Both items are out for biopsy... In the meantime, while Ruger is on painkillers for the next couple of weeks...he will be sporting this cool green cast.

Fun in the Sun on a Sunday afternoon...

Ash and I were playing some soccer...Ruger decided he was going to defend Ashley and won!

Crazy Cally couldn't decide if she wanted to golf or join our soccer game...

St. Croix Pics

We had lots of fun in the sun!! Harper loved the beach...she spent most of her time hanging out in the crashing waves and didn't even mind when they rolled her a couple of times. She'd come up laughing! We spent some quality time with our Simpson cousins, went sailing aboard Capn' Uncle Jimmy's boat and even did some snorkeling. I wish I had an underwater camera, cause I saw some really cool fish, sea urchins and a sea turtle!

Harper on the plane...errr...on the snack tray!

I covered myself with SPF 75 and wore my hat everywhere. Mr. Sun is NOT my friend!

Life was tough for Dave!

For all you dog lovers out there, this was the smartest little mut. She lived at the dive shop across the street. If she got hot, she'd take a dip in the ocean and then dig herself a hole in the sand under this palm tree.

Egg Wars! It Was So On!!!

My family does egg wars every Easter. Sal won this year. I can't believe I didn't even think for Cally to get involved. Midway through breakfast, she motioned with her hardboiled egg that Mike gave her that she wanted to crack some eggs (just from watching us earlier). Ashley took on the challenge. Ashley won this mini war but great effort by Cally. She really went for it (couldn't post video so here is pic). Too funny!

Extremes...
