Hello All! It's been a rough ride (to say the least) this past week here in the Southeast. Ink and I, along with the kids, are feeling more than blessed after last weeks storms. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers!
The NWS has confirmed (so far) that 18 tornados touched down in Chattanooga and the surrounding area last Wednesday. This includes an EF-4 which devastated the Apison, TN area, about 10 mins. from our home. Ink was out of work for most of last week due to damage and lack of power, so he has been working hard with the tree service helping anyone who is in need. Power outages today are "only" 10,000 - this is down from about 120,000. We were some of the lucky ones, our power was out for just over 24 hours. I was so grateful for this to be our only real concern. These pictures are from our area - some from our backyard, others from Chattanooga and nearby (this includes Apison and Ringgold, GA). I've also included aerial photos provided by a local news site.

Driving on Ooltewah - Ringgold Rd, which we travel quite often. This area was full of trees and homes. It's hard to tell, but notice the tops of the trees which are left just snapped right off.

Aerial photos of Ringgold, just off of the I75 exit. No one is allowed in or out.

Holy Hail!
