2011 Maine Trip

2011 Maine trip included myself, Shauna, Cally, Maya and Kristina. With the little ones and their car seats, we decided this year to rent a mini-van. Thank goodness we did, since it took us 10 hours to get Aunt Mary's! Once we arrived, we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather, delicious food and drinks and most importantly the love and laughter of family.

I couldn't help it, I took a lot of pictures, so here are just a few of them...

The girls showing off the fruits of their labor after helping Aunt Mary in the garden.

Fort Foster, Day #1.

Sara and the Harpster enjoying the water and sun.

Poor Kris had a broken foot. She toughed it out on the beach...

Sara and Dave had dinner and drinks at their house on Friday night. Cally and Harper enjoyed Harper's play land at Sara and Dave's new house.

Morning walk to Sea Pointe beach. Cally had a few "accidents". Her and Aunt Mary were going to clean off.

Cally loved the water. She was so excited by the waves and the fact that she turned into a mermaid.

Fort Foster, Day #2. Beautiful beach weather. We also enjoyed the company of Will and his girlfriend Liz.

Here is to next year... Thank you Aunt Mary, Uncle Charlie, Gus, Sara, Dave, and Harper for having us.

Ashlee Clair

A new baby girl

Kim and Eric are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl Ashlee Clair. She was born Friday 7-15 at 3:15pm 9lbs 1oz. Mom and baby are doing fine, going home today.

Visit to Maine 2011

They're texting each other.
One beautiful kid.
 Happy bottle time.

Well, in three days I only go these three shots. But I'm sure others will follow. We had a fine time but the girls left at 4 am this morning! Didn't get a chance to say goodbye.

2nd Annual Fourth of July Bash at the Tomczaks

You may remember the glorious videos of me setting off my Wal-mart fireworks last year. There was fear, ciaos, and laughter, but no music...

This year I got my cheap Wal-mart fireworks again, Dad got his "professional" fireworks and most importantly, we had music!!!

After both fireworks displays were over and Sal and I were done giving Chipper mouth to mouth, we enjoyed some s'mores at our fire pit.
Impatiently waiting for the first show.

Wal-mart fireworks at their best...
Dad's more sophisticated fireworks.
It's funny to see Shauna cover her child's ears because she did not like the loud noise, just like we used to have to do for her when she was younger. (When she got a little older, she would stuff cotton balls in her ears).

Happy Fourth!

Nothing like hitting the Lanes...

As a birthday request, I asked to go out bowling. My dad started the week out by informing us he had not been bowling since he was in Boston when in the Coast Guard back in the 70's....Thought this would be easy. I won the first game and then it went down hill from there....my dad won the next two!

Mom had a strong showing as well with me in the first game.

Dad somehow destroying us in the last two games...

Sal showing off his skills. He was able to place 2nd in the last two games.

Although, I have no understanding of what happened to my skills the last two games, we had a great time and can't wait to go again.
