On this Memorial Day let us remember all of the men and women who died serving our country so we can live freely without worries and have fun days like today with our families.

Jake Update

The Jake man will be 10 weeks old on Tuesday.  We really can't believe how fast he is growing!  He had his two month check up last week.  He weighed in at 13 lbs and 24 inches.  He is talking (cooing and babbling) a lot.  He is also holding is head up quite a bit to get a good look around the room.  Below are pictures from last weekend.  The first one, I was changing his bed and looked down and he had fallen asleep on the floor.  The next is from his first Phillies game thanks to Grandma and Grandpa.  The Phillies played against the Red Sox...unfortunatley, the Phillies had a horrible game.  However, as you can see Jake had a great nap!!

I'm doing some training in the hospital's outpatient clinic this week because I am going to help out there while they hire some new employees...when I'm stressed I just look at this picture and smile! Children can be stressful at times I'm sure, but this face just melts my worries away!

Tough Mudder x 2

Mike and I completed our second Tough Mudder Challenge - this year at Pocono Manor.  We took on the challenge with a team of friends.  Shawn joined us again from last year; Kelli was missed this year!  The weather was perfect; stay tuned for the report.  Thanks to Uncle Al for letting us stay over on Friday night; we had a really nice visit!  Cally was crying and missing Alex as soon as we got in the car to leave Saturday evening.  :)

Kelli's Post Baby Shower!

Kelli's baby shower was on Sunday, April 29th.  It was a lovely afternoon; it was the first baby shower that I have been to that the baby was actually there!!!  It was great!  Jake came in his best outfit (button down and grid patterned pants).  It was a wonderful afternoon shared with family and friends.  Kelli looked great.  Jake was on his best behavior being passed around by guests throughtout; he held a stinky blowout until the very end (complete outfit change!!!).  We are so happy for you, Kelli!!!

Kristina came over the Tuesday night before the shower.  She and Cally helped me make the wine charms.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to let everyone know that due to kitchen renovations, end of the school year for my mom, Mark and Stacy in a wedding that weekend, Mark and Stacy attempting to sell their house and look for house in Lancaster, and me being no help at all in Philly there will not be a big Memorial Day bash. (I'm bummed...) However everyone is invited for 4th of July on Saturday, June 30th!!! Hope everyone can come!!! Details to follow.

St. Michaels, MD...Volume II

Last weekend in April...Mike and I went away again to St. Michaels, MD for the second year in a row to celebrate our wedding anniversary.  We stayed at the same cottage on Oakacroak Creek off of the Miles River.  Otis came with us; he quickly remembered the place and took many dips in the creek.  Big thanks to my mom and dad for watching the girls.  Mike and I had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every moment.  We enjoyed wine fest on Saturday and met some wonderful people throughout our visit (from Maryland and lot from PA - lots of Phillies and Flyers shirts).  Pictures below...Mike grilling shortly after we arrived (Otis is a happy boy!), kayaking on Oakacroak Creek (so fun!!!!  Kristina, you would LOVE IT!!!!!!!), a surprise gift from the owners.
