corydoras paleatus

I finally got to the fish store today to buy a fish to replace panda cory. I wanted one just like the one I had but of course fate decided something different for me. No panda cory cats...But I needed a fish so my tank can cycle (it would take too long with just the 2 fish I have) and I need something to eat the food that falls to the bottom. So I got a spotted cory cat. I can already tell that he is healthier than the other fish I had. This guy (or girl?) is all over the tank! He seems to be enjoying his time in there! haha Let me tell you how hard it was to get him to sit still and smile for the picture...

  3. Pretty colors. I like the bubbles, too.

  4. I had two corys and they mated! The female laid eggs all over the side of the tank, but sadly, they never hatched.

  6. Cally and I stopped at Petsmart today, and we cruised by the fish. She gets so excited, "Fish! Fish! Fish!" May have a talk with Mike about getting a small tank for Cally with some small tropical fish. We'll see.....
