Thanks for your optimism Aunt Linda, however we are dealing with the "butt" breaking stuff here like Aunt Mary is up-up North...This was my car Monday morning, 1/4-1/2 inch of ice and several inches of snow. And we are expecting more of the ice/rain/snow stuff tonight!! Spring cannot come soon enough!
I hear ya. The only thing that is saving us from the next storm is the gray Atlantic; mostly rain which will drain away some of our still, 2 feet of snow, on the ground. Uncle Charlie and I are watching too much TV!
ReplyDeleteMaybe a winter get-a-way, extended family style, next winter? I remember we rented a condo years ago around T-giving. Collectively, we probably could afford some sort of vaca house/villa to have a reprise from winter. That's assuming that we'd want to spend vacation time together and pay to fly somewhere warm. Puerto Rico is a direct flight for most and lots of beautiful places to rent rather cheaply. Anyone in?

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, Kristina, that stinks! Second, I would cry if we still had 2 feet of snow here waiting to melt (I'm surprised how quickly everything did melt here). Third, a family get-away would be AWESOME!!!
